Who Am I?

I'm a creative person. Pretty shy, so at first I might seem quiet and introverted. But, when you know me you know that I have a lot to say. I'm a warm person. Very caring and kind. A good listener. I'm pretty full of compassion and love. In regards to my blog address it has to do with my name, so it's kind of who I am. I thought it was creative and fit well enough.

Remeber the 80's...

I don't remember much about the 80's but...

November 17, 1984(which might safe to assume was a rainy and pretty cold morning) after 4 hours of pushing my mom was wheeled off to have an emergency c-section(mom likes to say I was a pain in the butt even before I was born, I don't necessarily agree). I was born at 11:22AM. Mom remembers waking up and then wondering where I was, she glanced over to see my grandmother holding my as she was feeding me a bottle(Awe!), and then she mom knowing I was in good hands immediately fell back asleep.

I had my b-day party pretty early this year, because I'm going to be relocating to Idaho. I'm going to see about getting a job that will pay for my CNA at the college over there(No, not BYU-ID) LCSC. So I got to celebrate with all my friends, and since it was an 80's party I got to wear a lot of eye make-up at the same time(which I might never do again, unless I dress for another 80's party). Sarah made me a cake and I had it her's and Rachel's and Jill's place(It was good cake, thanks Sarah!). We played Apples to Apples, and chatted, ate Emily's awesome homemade pumpkin pie and chips, and I opened some presents(cards count as presents too). So, thanks again to all my friends who came, and thanks for the gifts! Maybe I'll be able to post some pics here soon. Keep in mind though not everyone was 80's.

So, my friends I have 1 more weekend here, 1 more Sunday in church, 1 more FHE, and 1 more movie night. So, I hope I can see all of my wonderful Oregon friends before I go! Other wise I might have to see in the Spring or Summer when I'm going to come down for a small visit. I'll need all your numbers too!

Til we meet again!

Peace, Love, and don't forget the Hippies in the raft(inside thing)!

Life at a glance

Let's see if I were to look at it from above, or have some sort of out of body experience what would I see...

I'd see someone who probably has been looking happier these days, someone who fits inside themselves better. Someone who definitely has the weight lifted from them every Sunday, again and again...

Someone who has decided to give a little of there time, because they wanted to feel that they were doing something to help someone, even a small task could be big to someone.

Someone who has wanted to make some time this summer to go to Idaho to visit her family.

Someone who does have people she cares for, and some people who care about her.

Revelations

So what do you think of this? What would you think if you witnessed this?

Sorry, we studied the end of Revelations in Institute tonight and I just wanted to post this for some reason. This is an artist's interpretation of chapter 19 when He descends on a white horse with an army of angels behind him.

Downtown Adventure

Me and my friends took the max downtown on Saturday to go to the waterfront. We didn't go in the festival area cause it cost 5$ to. We just hung out in the Saturday Market area.
Met a Navy guy,
Saw a car I wanted,

tried a truck on for size(I don't care what anyone says, I'm not too small or short to drive a F150 :P).We also checked out the dragon boat races, and then tried to hurry over to Chinatown in time to see the sumo wrestling at the Dragon Moon Festival. But, a las we did not make it :(
They sold cool Asian things (like the rope dragons, and anime memorabilia like in the below pics)
There was puppetsmore l8r!

I wonder what they look like now...

Is it just me or have you ever come across your old elementry year books(say 1992-1993 & 1994-1995) and wondered what so and so looked like now. So in curiousness and/or bordom tried looking them up on Facebook and/or Myspace? I kinda did that today or yesterday. Only problem is they still had not so yet adult faces so you have to look at the then and now to figure it out. I just thought oh well this is too much work, and it wasn't like we were really friends anyhow. I have already found a good portion of my old friends now. Well except for Amy A. & Rachael B.

Oh...and today I decided to look up and see if I could find my baby-3 yrs friend Joey. If I did find him he has a baby now and a little family of his own.

So thanks to the invention of social networking and social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook people probably can see what that kid that sat behind them looks like and how life has treated them thus far.

Heres to blogging!

First let me say Happy New Year!!! Happy 2009 everyone!
It's my first blog since 2008, and that was in Oct. Hmm...what have I been doing since then?
I haven't really worked for my friend since Dec., trying to figure out what to do school wise when I do go back. I'll most likely eventually go for nursing. Going to have to look for a job still meanwhile.

Been hangout with cool people from my singles ward every now and then since last year. I kind of made some cool friends through there. Tonight is game night so I'm blogging while my hamburger barley simmers, and about 20 - 30 min. before I go to game night. Tomorrow I'm going to a Tolkien thing with a friend, and I also got invited to some party in the evening by another.

I did finally start to get some work done on a story I started summer 2007. I had worked on it a little, but I hadn't been working on stories much lately, though I could have worked on it a little more the last 2 or 3 days. Figured I could better use the time while I have more of it.

I'm hoping that Feb 14th will be better than last year at least.
